Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheeto is currently in foster care. Please email his foster mom Hilary, at hknigh5@tigers.lsu.edu
Cheeto is a sweet little man who is looking for the perfect laid back home to spend the rest of his years with. At about 5 years old, Cheeto has a long life ahead of him. Chihuahuas are known as some of the longest living dogs, some living up to 20 years. Cheeto was brought in as a stray, but it seems that he may have been loved by someone once upon a time. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash.
Little Cheeto wants nothing more than a lap to curl up in. He gets along with cats as well as other dogs. He would be a great companion for someone who wants a calm older dog to hang out with. Cheeto would be happy living in an apartment as long as he had someone to love on him every day.
Cheeto has been diagnosed with a mild heart murmur (very common in small breeds), but that's easily managed by a very inexpensive medication given daily. Cheeto is otherwise healthy. He even tested negative for heartworms. Cheeto has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date with vaccinations. He's ready to go home with you today.
