This gorgeous girl is Raylene and she is one pretty pup! Raylene is a young pit bull type dog - Lab Mix. Raylene is one loving pup! She was picked up as a stray and waited patiently for her owners to come claim her like they said they would, but sadly they never showed up. Now Raylene is hoping for a family that will love her and keep her safe for the rest of her life! Raylene really enjoys people and especially loves when she gets belly rubs. Raylene also does well on the leash, but can use some more training. Raylene also isn’t a high energy dog, she does need exercise but she’s also happy and content laying next to you and relaxing after a hard day’s work. Raylene is a happy go lucky girl and she would be a great companion for hikes, a trip to the beach or even a long walk at the park.
Raylene was abandoned but is ready for a new, happy life. Are you the person or family she is going to spend it with?
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). We have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play. Please consider making a difference in a dog’s life and adopt from our shelter!
We are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm.
We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531
