Meet Fletcher, a stunningly beautiful purebred male Weimaraner who is just 9 months old. This youngster is unbelievably gorgeous with a beautiful coat and the most soulful amazing eyes. And, he has a TAIL! He will steal your heart in seconds and you won't know what hit you. Fletcher came to us when his family had to move, and they could not take him along.
As gorgeous as this boy is, his looks are not the best part of him. He is just an amazing, wonderful dog with a very sweet and loving disposition. Fletcher is a young boy with lots of energy and a wonderful heart. Even though he has a lot of puppy energy, he settles beautifully in the house and is a calm boy indoors. He's a true lover and cuddler and just adores all people and has been good with the children he has been around. Fletcher LOVES other dogs. He gets along beautifully with his foster siblings. They love to play and share toys. Fletcher is wonderful with his food around the other dogs too. He has met some cats, and it seems like he wants to be friends with them, so he has not shown any of the prey drive associated with some Weims, so he is a good choice for a family with cats.
Like most weims, Fletcher will not do well left without his people for long hours. Weims are true family dogs and don't do well left for 8-10 hours a day, the ideal home will be one in which one adult stays home or works from home or works only part time.
He is a very smart boy who is eager to please his person. He should do a nice obedience class with is new owner if possible to cement their bond and set him well on the way to perfection.
