Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a soft, cuddly bunny, about 3lbs, dark eyes, and have orange tinted paw pads. I enjoy being picked up, cuddled, and brushed. I'm pretty mellow, but I am a curious bunny and I would like to have a little space to jump around and explore. I like kitten toys too and I get excited when I hear my people come by to say hi to play with me. When I hear them, I hop to greet them!
I was abandoned on the front lawn of Presidio Park. When I was found, I had a few scratches on the top of my head from fending for myself in the wild. I had not been there for long, but I was very hungry and dehydrated. I stayed close to the parking lot where there were lots of people. I liked having tourist children run up to me to take pictures. A kitten foster group realized that I would not last in the park after sundown, so they returned after sunset and picked me up. I was so happy to go to a home for the night where they fed me fresh kale, Swiss chard, bok choy and carrot greens from their gardens. I was so thirsty because I had not had water for a long time. I met my kitten friend, Bindi, who is being fostered for adoption too. She was afraid of me at first, but then warmed up and showed me how to jump in the litter box to pee. The older cats wanted to eat me, but I wasn't afraid of them.
I'm currently at the county shelter on Gaines Street and so miserable there. : ( My foster visited me yesterday and found a tick on me. There are just too many pets there that they can't keep up with us all. I hope a nice family will adopt me soon. Please adopt me directly from the San Diego County Shelter ( ID #A1557160 ). The shelter has taken care of my basic health care and confirmed that I am neutered. Please feel free to contact my rescuer at artawest@yahoo.com for more information.
