UPDATE: (dog in back right) Brenda's puppies were not found, but she finally arrived in our care Monday. Mama aka Brenda has arrived into her foster home and if you can't tell by the picture she is settling in just fine. She does great with dogs her own size and children. Mama does not like smaller dogs or cats so she cannot be placed in a home with either. But she is a big gentle giant at 78lbs she is all love. She will make someone a very loving and loyal companion. Brenda was rescued from NY. I was believed at the time of rescue that she was pregnant. Xrays showed that Brenda was not pregnant but did have puppies within the last week. So someone dumped her and took her pups :( We cannot imagine how she feels, but we do know she needs a lot of love that she deserves. She will be coming to the rescue tomorrow and will be further assessed with children and others dogs, but seems to be extremely friendly with EVERYONE!
