08/15/13: Lexi and Tyson Share a Sad Tale of Woe and Misfortune

Lexi and Tyson are two beautiful boxers who have always been together. Their family has fallen on hard financial times and were desperate for help. They did everything they could to find a safe place for their dogs. The only option that they felt was left was to take their loving dogs to a Shelter. Although we have no foster home open for them we felt compelled to help. We knew that they would stand little chance of being adopted in the shelter environment.

Lexi is a spry 8 year old and Tyson is a vital 6 year old. They both grew up in the same family since they were puppies. They have never been kenneled before or away from their family. Therefore they are experiencing extreme emotional stress from being separated from the only people they have ever known.

At this time, we are giving them plenty of reassurance and going slow so that they can adjust to their new surroundings. Unfortunately the only place we had for them to go is a boarding kennel, but at least they are still together and they are safe.

They are listed together because it would be best to have these two stay together since they are so bonded.
