Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This site doesn't include a selection for Siamese/Himalayan colored cats who have POINT COLORS, so "mostly cream" was the best I could do to describe this handsome guy. His color is Mitted Seal Point, which means he has short little mittens of white on his seal brown feet, higher white stockings in the rear, and dark points (nose, ears, tail, legs) and blue eyes. He is not a mix, he is a purebred Ragdoll, but he does NOT have the laid back Ragdoll personality.. He definitely has the SIAMESE personality, so his adopting Purrson should know and understand Siamese, as he has inherited his personality from that part of his background. He is sensitive, talkative, cautious with stangers but loving with his chosen purrson, tolerant of other cats as long as they aren't aggressive towards him, and he likes to be combed for awhile, but not for too long. He has a very fine straight coat which doesn't mat, which is fortunate. In summer, he sheds his entire undercoat and looks more like a Birman. In winter, it comes back and he looks like an early Himalayan. The first three photos were taken in May, before he shed his coat. The last one was taken in October, when he is just starting to grow back his winter coat.
Pete is not unhappy in his foster home despite the overly large population of other cats coming and going, but he deserves a real forever home of his own with a real cat person who will love him, sleep with him, give him treats, and provide him a home for the rest of his life, which could be another 15 years, even when he's an old Geezer.
Pete does not show his sweet side on the first "meet and greet" interview, so he is not available for a long-distance adoption. If you live within an hour or so of Atlanta, Georgia, and are seriously interested in providing that forever home for Pete, please contact us and send your telephone number -- let's talk. If we both think he may be the cat for you, we'll arrange a meet & greet in your home and let the chemistry between you take it from there.
