My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I am Mike, and I was brought to a shelter with my brother Gunner when our owner could no longer take care of us. My foster mom says that I have a beautiful spirit and I bop when I walk, as I am such a happy boy! I get along well with cat’s as there are cat’s here at my foster home and there are 2 resident Brittany’s here (1 male and 1 female) and we all get along, and I just love people. I have a boo boo on my one paw which is beginning to heal, my foster mom thinks it is from my licking…. When I came into rescue I got a once over from a really nice vet and he said that I have a low thyroid blood level, so I need to take a pill everyday to keep it under control. My joints are stiff as I am 12 years old but my foster mom gives me a Glucosamine pill daily.

We have a doggie door here, and I learned how to use it quickly and I love to go outside and run and chase the kitties, but only the ones that run. I also stay off the furniture and will never even think about getting on the sofa or bed, I guess my owners trained me well.

History:
Mike was surrendered to a shelter in PA along with his brother Gunner when there owners could no longer take care of them.

Mike is up to date on his shots and on heartworm preventative.
