Jet was adopted from ASH Rescue 10 moths ago, she has enjoyed the country life but it was recently discovered that she has acquired a taste for lambs/ sheep. Due to this being the families livelihood and our adoption contract, Jet is being returned to ASH Rescue.
This is the write up that her adoptive family sent .....
Jet is a well behaved friendly and loving dog. She plays well with children, cats and other dogs. While she has been with us for the last 10 months she has given us many pleasant memories and good times. She is easy to train and rarely needs to be corrected twice for any issue. She plays well with other dogs however does corrects & dominates unbalanced dogs. This is easily corrected and she behaves well afterwords. She is a quiet dog and will bark only at wildlife. She is friendly with family as well as strangers. She does not eat people food however an abandoned hot dog at a picnic can be very tempting. As a rule she behaves well around the picnic table. She sits, lies down and stays on command however has not had any professional training. She is generally an outside dog for all weather but is just as comfortable on the carpet or couch for an afternoon nap. As we live on a farm with sheep she has proven to be dangerous with the sheep. It is not recommended that she go to a home with small livestock. She would also be a wonderful second dog to a family as she loves having a sidekick. She is an alpha female and does tend to be in control.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with Jet however with the livestock issue we are unable to continue keeping her. We hope that you can open your heart and home to this lovely dog and give her a new permanent home.
