Here’s Handsome and Hilarious Henley! A very southern name for a little boy who is VERY lucky to have made it out of the south. Rescued from high kill Murray County Shelter in Chatsworth, GA…Henley was overlooked by rescues due to a skin condition. Probably also why his crappy first owners dumped him in the woods or shoved him out the door. But Henley holds no grudges against humanity- and is just happy and affectionate and ready to now in Washington state and looking for his final, future home! He’s on medication now, getting good food and getting “prettier” by the day. Not affected by his skin “issue” at all, he will just need you to give him a daily dose and love him to pieces! Weighing in at only 17 lbs and 5 months old…he is mature beyond his age. He will love a daily walk, trips to the dog park and visits around the neighborhood. He is quiet and friendly and VERY social! Henley is crate trained and house trained and good on the leash already. He is working on all his basic skills, but he learns super fast. Though still a pup he will need you to finish his training! Henley will get bigger, but still will only top out at 25-30 lbs our vet thinks. Though we are not completely sure what his mix is…pointer, wire-haired terrier or what? But we do know that he is the cutest little guy and so very happy of dogs. He gets along great with everyone he meets, human or canine or feline! He loves to play and will keep up with the best of them! Henley is vaccinate, micro-chipped and will be neutered this week.
