My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maddie has one of the most incredible rescue stories ever. This young puppy was about to die 3 weeks ago and now she is thriving!
She was left at Miami Animal Services with a contagious skin condition leaving her full of scabs and so malnourished from not being fed that every bone was in her body visible; she also had a severe case of worms which left her anemic and lethargic. MDAS didnt even give her a picture due to her condition and slated her for euthanasia immediately the following day.
Luckily, I was there to pick up some other dogs coming into the rescue and when I was notified of Maddie's condition and urgency and then saw her for myself I just could not leave her there to die.
Maddie wanted to live as well; she quickly started eating and drinking water and gaining her strength back. Now she is fully cured from everything she once had and she is full of life. She went from not being able to even lift her head to playing tug of war and running around in just weeks!
Her fur is still in the process of growing back (of course shes no longer contagious) and she will be even more beautiful then. She has a gorgeous pink nose and hazel eyes, amazingly sweet personality and gentle soul.
She is the sweetest puppy around and its amazing how great of a puppy she is with having such a rough start initially in life.
We believe Maddie to be a pit bull mix puppy, so she must be adopted outside of Miami Dade County, and approximately 8-10wks old.
