Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You know how a Boxer has that particular look to his face where his nose and cheeks have been hit so many times it is forever etched in the contours of his face? Well that’s the way Spike is. At some point in his short life, (he’s only 2 yrs old) something traumatic happened to his muzzle and jaw. Thankfully, they have healed and he has full use of both, but this injury has left a permanent mark on this sweet boy’s countenance. His nose has a pronounced bump on it, and he now has a cute underbite. But Spike’s unique facial characteristics merely serve to make him all the more exceptional. Beneath his physical imperfections lies a heart of gold, a dear sweet baby who has so much love to give.
Why not come on down and meet this UNIQUE dog in the fur at the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 (only one hour south of Charlotte, NC) or call (864) 583-4805 to inquire? This is a family friendly facility with an indoor visitation room as well as an outdoor play area. All the dogs are inside, with heat and air conditioning, and have their own private kennel. The shelter’s visitation hours are 11AM until 6 PM Monday through Friday and 11AM until 5 PM Saturday and Sunday.
Spike’s adoption fee is $85 which includes his neuter surgery, Rabies, Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations, HW testing (Spike is HW negative), worming, a 24PetWatch microchip, a free follow-up wellness checkup at the shelter's clinic, as well as 1 month of free pet insurance with PetHealth Services, Inc.
