My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar is as sweet as they come! She is a loving little girl who was just retired from a biomedical research facility and is now searching for her forever family!
Sugar is on the shy side, so we are looking for her forever home to have another dog to help her to feel more comfortable in her new home...plus, she loves playing with the dogs in her foster home...both male and female. :) Besides dogs, Sugar loves playing with stuffed toys and will occupy herself with them both inside and outside. Going for walks has become a favorite for Sugar, too and she does quite well walking on a lead with minimal pulling. She is doing nicely with both crate and house training and even though she was not fond of her crate when first coming to us, she will, at times, go into it and lay down. You are definitely more likely to find her laying on the couch with her humans, as she likes to snuggle.....she will also "nest" and sometimes takes quite awhile to create the perfect spot!
Sugar is 10 months old, weighs 14 lbs. and is just a happy and easy-going girl....Although she gets the "zoomies" and is playful, she settles nicely. Sugar is so deserving of a forever loving home and if you feel you are the right fit for her, please fill out an adoption application. Homes with very young children would be too overwhelming for Sugar, so only homes with older children will be considered at this time.
