Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mickey, a beautiful and happy young adult. He is about 2 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. He is mostly short-haired Border Collie or maybe even McNab in him. There are surely other breeds in the mix but it is hard to tell what else without a DNA test. Wish we had the $$ for that; it is always fun to see the results.
Mickey's owner, Rob, is active duty military and is being deployed in January, for up to a year. We would love to help Rob find someone who can care for Mickey until Rob returns from his deployment. If Rob cannot find someone to care for his dog while he is away, he will have to give him up permanently. Please consider giving Mickey a temporary home until his Rob returns.
Mickey is a super playful guy who is looking for an active home to give him lots of love and attention. He is bouncy and enthusiastic, listens well, and will be great in training class. He would be a great second dog to keep a first active dog company.
Check out Mickey's "play bow" in his picture - he is asking YOU to bring him home for some fun doggy games! He is really good at "keep away" and "chase!"
Mickey would make a fantastic agility dog, he's got lots of vertical and is super athletic. He would also make a great a great running companion!
Mickey is neutered, up to date on vaccination, tested heartworm negative, and on monthly preventative.

Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
