My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Noel" is a 1 year old, Female, Tan/Wht Colored, 23#, Purebred Beagle. She came to us with her friend "Jimmy" after their owner no longer had any use for them. See, her owner uses a pack of Beagles to hunt for Rabbit's and if the dogs don't hunt to he simply gets rid of the dog and replaces it with another. Fortunately for these two, he brought them to the Vet Clinic where I work so I was able to take custody before he dumped them at the pound.
The day they arrived, I had them vaccinated and tested for Heartworm & Lyme. It was then when it was found that both these two cutiest were positive for Heartworm. We promptly had them started with their treatment and they are now home and awaiting their 1 month followup treatment.
Though we are commited to the German Shepherd breed, we couldn't turn these two adorable babies away. We are hoping to find homes for these babes either together or seperate (they are not overly attached) and we are commited to covering the financial burdon until the treatment of Heartworm, all vaccines, all dewormings, & he is neutered.
These guys have NEVER been shown love, they were simply there to hunt and lived outdoor in kennels.
