My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweet Little Aspen! This 7 lb female Maltese entered a Southern CA shelter as a stray. Aspen had a wound in the mid section of her tail and could not move it. Our rescue organization offered to take Aspen to our vet for treatment of tail injury. Upon examination and x-rays, it was determined that her tail had been fractured and was not healing. Aspen underwent surgery to remove the dead portion of her tail.

Aspen is now fully recovered and is staying in a foster home. Now all needs is to find an adoptive family to share her love.
