My story

Introducing: RUDY!!! Rudy is a 3-4 year old, neutered male foxhound mix. Rudy comes to Collier Animal Rescue from an abusive previous owner who burned him with cigarettes, hit him with large objects and kept him locked in a cage all day. However, Rudy is not going to let his painful past ruin his chances at a wonderful future with his new adopter. He is not hand shy, in fact he can't get enough affection! He absolutely loves being outside, running and playing but is still slightly overweight due to his previous lack of exercise. Rudy is currently in a foster home with several other dogs, large and small, and has made friends with them all. He is now getting proper socialization, medical vaccinations, nutrition, exercise and training.
