Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Murry ~ nothing but a big boy who wants to love and be loved on ~ need a lap cat, Murry is the man!!
· Born 2006
· Found as stray in the parking lot of our Vet's old apartment complex.
· Gets along well with other cats (once they get used to each other ~ patience and proper techniques make the transition much easier ~ if you need advice, please let us know!). He might do well as an only cat in the right situation. Just talk to us, ask us as many questions as you need.
Right how his people feel that he is being "bullied" by an older feline brother ~ they just want Murry to feel comfortable in his home and know that he is safe and content. As long as his "new" siblings are laid back, gentle, and easy going, there should be no issues in a multi-cat home.
· Gets a little scared at general noises and things, mainly cause he is a big wuss! And that comes from living outside and having to be aware of his surroundings to protect himself. He does settle down when he knows he is in a safe place.
· VERY loving and loves to rub his head on you and loves to be petted, especially on the head.
· Allows baths, as long as you don’t just throw him in the tub. We usually just use a couple inches of water and he is fine.
Murry just wants to be with people...he loves watching the birds and squirrels play while sunning himself in his favorite place. He is definitely not high maintenance, he just wants to belong. He is not declawed ~ he is a very good about letting his people clip his toenails ~ apparently this is fun, quality time where he gets to be the center of attention ~ hey, I wish my cats felt this way!!
If we could even find a temporary foster home we would love to work something out. We are building a new clinic but we won't break ground till next year. When the building is complete, Murry could come back to us...that is, if you haven't fallen in love with him and don't want to give him back. We just want you to know that it is an option. The owners are willing to pay for food and other needs of his and will work out an "allowance" for his care.
If you have any questions about Murry, please contact the clinic directly: (256) 319-7341
