Zara is a darling five month old puppy. This GBM, or Gorgeous Brown Mutt is a super cute breed that generally grows up to be a mid-sized dog. Actually, we haven't got a clue what mix of breeds Zara is, but we do know that she is awesomely adorable with her classy white booties and eyeliner!
Zara is a very active, friendly puppy. She is a snuggle bug and loves belly rubs and cuddles. She is great with people of all shapes and ages once she gets to know them, plays beautifully with her dog friends, and is cat friendly(Whoo-hoo!).
She loves long walks and games of tug. Puppy Zara was trying to survive on the streets all by herself when picked up, and is a little unsure of strange dogs and sometimes of strange people, but with encouragement she is learning that nothing bad will happen to her now.
Zara is being trained using reward based training (Clicker training) and has basic obedience including "sit", "down", "off" (used to leave food alone), and a short stay. She does an adorable "High Five", too.
She knows how to walk on leash and is learning "come". She is close to house trained and will not make a mistake if taken out on a regular schedule. We recommend that her she continue her training after adoption in a good positive reinforcement based puppy class. She is very smart and needs to be challenged to think to tire her out mentally as well as physically.
Zara is fully vetted, spayed and up to date on shots.
