My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Because of her age and health, a breeder of beautiful show quality Lhasa Apsos and Pekingese is retiring and needs to adopt out a few wonderful purebreds. Montana Lhasa Apso Purebred Rescue is helping her to find perfect homes for these well-loved dogs.

Pete is a 4-1/2 year old Pekingese; utd on shots, neutered and microchipped. Pete is very outgoing and crate trained. He weighs 14 pounds, but could stand to lose a couple of pounds. He loves everybody, but can be a little timid in stressful situations. Pete must be kept on a fish and sweet potato diet to keep his g.i. tract working right. Otherwise, he has no other health problems.

He would make a wonderful companion for the home that has lots of time and love to give. Fenced yard required. Will consider apartment/townhouse/condo living.

While we do adopt out of state, MLAPR does not ship animals. Out of state adopters must make arrangements to meet Pete in person if approved for a meet and greet.
