Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update 1/4/08, Shelby has been at the shelter since 11/8. Her neck has healed, she has put on weight and now she is a beautiful compact dog. She is very energetic and loves to play. Shelby is too much for young children, but would be a great companion for someone on the go.
Shelby was found as a stray with an ingrown chain in her neck. The chain has been removed and her neck is healing, but the shelter is not a place for her to be recovering. This little girl is very sweet and very friendly and loves any attention she gets. She will sit for treats, but can be stubborn at times. She is very small, weighing probably only 35-40 lbs. She would benefit from some obedience training and could be a good canidate for agility. PLEASE REFER TO LOG # 640 WHEN INQUIRING ABOUT SHELBY. For more current information on the availability of an animal, please call Animal Control (401) 243-6040 between 11 - 3. Please refer to animals by their log number rather than their name. You must go to the shelter to arrange an adoption in person. No adoptions can be arranged over the phone or by Internet. Shelter hours are Monday - Saturday, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM - closed holidays. For information on ways you can help through volunteering at the shelter, please call (401) 272-1639. You must be 18 to volunteer at the shelter.
