Piper and Max are beautiful, cuddly, personable cats in dire need of a home. Their owner loves them very, very much, and is devastated to have to give them up - but is suffering from severe allergies that have grown progressively worse over time. She has this to say about this special pair:
"My boys are wonderful, loving, well behaved, the best friends a girl could want.
My two year old's name is Piper; he was brought to the shelter a few hours after his mother gave birth to him outside a woman’s house in the rain. She picked him up and brought him in. He was so tiny that we did not think he was going to make it, but I thought I would take the chance with him and took him home and started bottle feeding him. I brought him to work with me for the first 6 weeks to give him every 2 hour feedings and he and I have such a wonderful bond, he looks at me with such trusting eyes it hurts to have to part with him.
He is a grey and white short hair, a small boy, only about 7-8 pounds. He is a very shy cat, but one he trusts you he has to be everywhere with you, and if you are sitting and are not paying attention with you he sits up like a little monkey...and (with no nails) he pats you on the leg until you reach down and pet him! He loves to sit and knead in your lap.
My 6 year old is Max. He is a beautiful tuxedo with the personality that every friend I have ever had come over wish they had a cat so friendly and nice. Like a dog he runs to greet you at the door talking his head off. He loves to hold conversations and has the cutest chirps. He is so silky and does not shed at all. He is bigger then piper by about 4-6 pounds and is longer. He loves to just sit and cuddle on the couch. He is so mellow, just lays back and lets life come at him. He truly has the personality of an angel.
Both of my boys are neutered, and litter trained. They have never gone outside and are strictly indoor only cats. I hate that I am allergic and that I need to find a home for them. I want them to be placed together as a pair, they have been together for 2 years and love each other, sleep with each other, play, groom, etc all day with each other."
