Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lola is a cute three year old Dwarf hotot mixed with a Lionhead. Lola is a very sweet rabbit that likes to cuddle, and she will let you hold her like a baby. However, when she is inside her cage she exhibits some cage aggression that we are working with. We are thinking that touching her food bowl may be a trigger for this. Our rescue has recently had Lola spayed, and this seems to be helping to calm her down. When she is outside of her cage she is absolutely fine, and it has only been a few days after her spay. With each passing day she is doing better when we out our hands inside her cage, and we think that eventually she may stop this behavior entirely. However, we would recommend Lola does not go to a home with small children as she currently is working through her cage aggression issues. She has never bitten any of us even though she is severely upset when hands are in her cage. The vet says that she is in very good health, and believes the spay could help her temperament inside of her cage. Lola did come from a home with a child however, but she was surrendered as the owner was in bad health and could no longer care for her. Lola is great with being held, and despite her issues inside her cage she is the most cuddly rabbit when she is outside of it. If you are willing to give Lola a loving home please contact us at Tinyfriendsanimalrescue@gmail.com. All of our rabbits have an adoption fee of $75 to help cover their spaying/neutering surgery. Lola has been socialized with cats, dogs, and adults. An adoption application is required, but the adoption does not take a long time.
