My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Violet is a two year old Lionhead mix that has beautiful features with a great personality to match! Violet is spayed, and she has been seen by a vet who has clarified that she is in great health! She is an indoor rabbit, but she enjoys being outside when it is nice out. When we go up to her cage she is very friendly, and she is not aggressive. Violet has beautiful eyes, and a very stunning coat. We are unsure of her specific breed, but we believe she is a Lionhead mixed with an unknown breed. Her fur is on the longer side, but it is perfectly straight and does not tangle. It does not require special care, but she would do well to be brushed a couple of times a month. Violet was surrendered to us because her owner was going away to college, and the rest of the family unfortunately, did not have the proper time to spend with her. Violet was bonded with another bunny named Lucky here at the rescue, and they were both previously adopted. The person that had adopted them had very unfortunate circumstances occur in her life, and she was forced to return them to the rescue. She said that they were sweet, amazing bunnies in her care and that she was devastated to have to give them back. These loving bunnies deserve to find a loving home that is willing to care for them for the remainder of their lives as they have so much love to give. If you are looking to adopt a rabbit please consider rescue over shopping at a pet store as our animals are vetted, need loving homes, and are socialized with people & other animals. An application is required, but they have first priority, and the adoption is generally not a lengthy process.
