Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 9/19/13: WATSON is 3 years old and weighs 7lb 7oz; he is being fostered in Clearwater, FL.
Watson now gives KISSES! Just as suspected, Watson is gaining confidence and finding his bossier side. He greets FM at the door with a toy and his wagging nub of a tail every time she comes home. He drops the toy only to bark if she hasn't greeted him fast enough. Watson takes that same little toy into the bedroom in the evenings when he thinks it is bedtime hoping. it might tempt everyone else to follow. He will peek around the corner until he is seen and then try to entice the group to move towards the bed.
FM even heard a little bark in the house one afternoon and found him staring up at the bed, becoming frustrated that he couldn't find a way to climb up without assistance. It was one of the RARE moments he wasn't within a foot of FM's feet. Watson insists on being your constant companion, which is really quite sweet. BUT... he is also very upset when you leave without him and he lets the world know how much he disagrees with that decision by crying and barking. This would not make him a great apartment/condo dog but makes him the PERFECT best bud.
Watson is also starting to play more and more with the other small dog in the house. Playtime wrestling seems too often be on the bed, first thing in the morning and last thing before sleeping. He is so silly! So much of the day, Watson looks pretty serious, and it is really fun to see him loosening up. The one time he does not want to be right by your side is when he gets to explore the backyard. Watson will know it is time to come inside and look towards FM as she calls, then smirk and jog the other way to make one last lap and remind her of his independence. Ohhhh... one more thing, Watson has the BEST "bed body"! FM can't even call it "bed head" because it really is his entire body in random, wild spikes when he wakes up. It is the funniest, most goofy, sleepy dog scene when Watson wakes up. After FM stops giggling and making little Mohawks on his head, Watson will lay still next to her as she brushes his pretty hair back into place.
Watson is more than ready to start getting to know and love his forever family. He will be the most dedicated boy to his new best friend and is waiting anxiously to meet you and fall Giant ears over Tiny tail in love! NOTE: Due to Watson’s size, he can only be adopted into a home with children over the age of 14 years old.

UPDATED BIO 08/29/2013: MEET WATSON! He is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 7lb 7oz; Watson is being fostered in Clearwater, FL.
Here's what Watson had to say:
Hi, it's me Watson, as in "Dr. Watson", because my FM thinks I should wear a monocle and carry a little pipe or fancy hat to match my serious and thoughtful stare. I was found in a really scary thunderstorm running for a hiding place and everyone thought I was the biggest rat they'd ever seen. Can you believe it? ME... a rat?!
I was so scared when the nice people got me dry and warm again, fed me some food and trimmed my super long nails. It felt SOOOO good to walk on the bottom of my feet instead of my curled toenails.....ouch! Nobody ever came to find me so I moved into my FM's house. Everything is still pretty scary and new. I keep waking up at night and needing to make sure I am safe and that I was not left alone. I am very afraid of being left alone again for who knows how long. I mean, what if I'm left out by a highway again or caught in another giant storm without anyone to help me?! I am one Yorkie that definitely knows how little I am. That big & busy world taught me a few lessons for sure!
FM made me go straight to see the doctor. They said with good nutrition and flea prevention, my dry skin should get better fast. My knees are a little wobbly but pretty normal for Yorkies like me. I have a little scratch on my nose from my rough life on the streets alone, but it is healing. Now FM tells me I have to go back today to get my dirty teeth cleaned and rotten baby teeth pulled. They said something about a neuter too, hmmmmm....I wonder what that is. Wish me luck, I'm super scared!
INITIAL BIO 8/28/13: Watson is a little boy weighing 7 lbs 7 oz, being foster in Clearwater, FL. The vet guesses he is ~3 years old. Watson is very timid and never wants to be all alone. He is new to UYR so we will keep you updated as soon as we get to know a little more about this darling boy.
