Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patrick is a 3 yr old saint bernard whose story is very upsetting. He came into rescue from a PA shelter, where he was found on the back porch a good Samaritan's with 2 metal prongs and having difficulty moving. After some research, the shelter determined that poor Patrick had been tazered. A little more research found that he had been running in traffic and the police apparently tazered him and then never called animal control, so Patrick was left to fend for himself. He's very thin, and straggly, and has had a tough time of things.
Patrick did very well on his temperament test and seems to do well with both dogs and cats. Because we don't know his past, we won't place with children under 10. He really is a sweet boy who needs a home to love him and nurture him back into tip-top shape.
Patrick is really coming along now that he's been in rescue a few weeks--he's very good with other dogs, very affectionate with people he knows and very smart! He's learning tricks and is starting to fill out. He's looking great!
Please see our website for information about the adoption process: www.peacefulpawsrescue.org. Peaceful Paws does not have a facility. Instead, dogs are housed in foster homes.
