Basha is a Leopard Spotted Bengal about 4 years old. True to her breed, she has some quirky personality traits. She will loudly greet you when you come home and she wants to be petted and rubbed. She is a little skittish, so she enjoys having a large dog crate to call home. She does wander the house sometimes, but she will soon be ready for the comfort of her cage. Basha will only let you pic k her up when she is ready and trusts you. If she is frightened, she will try to flee. Originally coming to her foster home, Basha did not like other cats, but has grown to accept the cats who frequent the area near her cage.
Basha has twice been abandoned by owners who did not understand her. Basha is looking for a family who understands Bengals and will give her the "space" to become comfortable in the home. Because of Basha's skittish tendencies, it is best not to adopt her to a noisy, active home, or one with young children. She can live with respectful children. Basha actually prefers dogs to other cats and will rub alongside dogs.
Basha is not a lap pet, so if that is what you are looking for, Basha is not a match for you. Bengals are a breed of their own, but with knowledge, they are stunning pets to keep.
