Lucky is a male, French/Mini-lop mix, and is estimated to be around three years old. Poor Lucky was kept in horrible conditions before our rescue found him on a Craigslist posting for free. The people gave him to us in a cage with no bedding, and just filth at the bottom. As a result Lucky had sore hocks on the bottom of his feet, and is missing hair on his back-side when he arrived at the rescue. Even though Lucky was treated so poorly he is still a very sweet rabbit who loves children, other animals, and affection. He is one of the friendliest rabbits at the rescue despite the abuse suffered by his previous owners. Lucky is completely healed from all of the abuse he previously suffered, and looks like a new bunny now! He has a great appetite, and is super playful. Lucky was seen by a vet and neutered about two months ago so he is in very healthy condition. We would like Lucky to go to a great home that will make up for all of the horrible treatment he has had previously. It really touches our hearts as he was treated so poorly by people, and he still loves to nuzzle his head against you for attention. Lucky was bonded with another bunny named Violet here at the rescue, and they were both previously adopted. The person that had adopted them had very unfortunate circumstances occur in her life, and she was forced to return them to the rescue. She said that they were sweet, amazing bunnies in her care and that she was devastated to have to give them back. These loving bunnies deserve to find a loving home that is willing to care for them for the remainder of their lives as they have so much love to give.
