SPECIAL NEEDS PEANUT (CEREBELLAR HYPOPLASIA - MILD)
Meet Toby & Peanut. They are a bonded pair of Young Male Kittens. They were rescued from a hoarding situation and his two siblings were very ill. One did not make it, but Peanut and Toby did. Both Toby and Peanut do well with cats, dogs and children. The play very well together and love attention. They would make excellent pets for a retiree.
Toby is a 6-7 month old Young Black Male DSH Kitten. He is affectionate and playful and is always looking out for his brother Peanut. He was the healthiest of his siblings when rescued and did not have to undergo a blood transfusion. He loves to snuggle and cuddle!
Peanut is a 6-7 month old DSH Young Tuxedo Male Kitten He got a very rough start when he was little. He had to have a blood transfusion and a lot of medical care to survive. It left him with a condition known as Cerebellar Hyperplasia where he tremors if he gets exhausted or hungry. As he gets older, he seems to be experiencing symptoms less and less, so hopefully it will not impact him long term. It doesn't affect him at all as far as daily living that the vet and his foster can see. He is still friendly and loving and playful. He is a very very sweet boy.
The adoption fee for a bonded pair of cats is $200 and that includes:
• veterinarian examination
• current vaccines
• current flea, intestinal parasite, and heartworm prevention
• spay/neuter
• a microchip for identification if ever lost or stolen
• current heartworm test
