My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flo is a 2 year old female blue merle Aussie mix available for adoption in Augusta, Georgia.

Smart, young and beautiful with the most striking blue eyes, she’s a fabulous companion. Flo weighs 48 lbs. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows several commands including “sit” and “down”. With a little more training, she’ll be an even better dog.

Flo is a moderate to high energy girl who’ll be happiest with an active owner and a fenced yard. Like many Aussies, she has a tendency to lose focus and can become difficult to control on a leash until her exercise needs are met. Her favorite game is fetch. Just throw a disc or a ball, and she’ll be in love!

Inside the house, Flo is well behaved and affectionate. She prefers to spend her time lying at (or on) your feet rather than bouncing off of your walls. Flo hasn’t chewed anything other than her toys. She comes when called, settles into a routine quickly, and not only learns, but gladly meets your expectations of her. She’s eager to please and uses her brain in positive (non-defiant) ways.

Flo is an excellent choice as a performance dog, exercise buddy or sibling to an energetic male Aussie.
We believe she’ll do best in a home without small dogs or cats.
