My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Louise is a 3 year old female blue merle pending adoption in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She's a big (75 lb.) happy girl we believe to be an Aussie x Akbash (or some other livestock guarding breed).
Louise gets along with other dogs and people of all shapes and sizes. She was respectful of the toddlers that she met. While she hasn't shown much interest in dog-savvy cats, she is BIG and playful and might accidentally damage smaller, furry critters.
She LOVES to play tug and is learning to catch, return, and most importantly, release a frisbee. She's good on leash, but sometimes forgets that she shouldn't pull. She's been exposed to agility equipment. She won't be the fastest dog on the course, but she (and you!) would have fun.
Louise is house trained and crate trained. She crates herself for dinner, treats and to get out of the way of foster mom and the resident Aussies. She is not a high energy dog and is perfectly content with a couple of walks and a short play session every day. Louise is wicked-smart and learns what is expected of her very quickly. She is treat motivated.
Louise can and will scale a four foot fence. She should not be left unattended. She's not a runner, she just wants to be part of any party.
