My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marvin, fixed male Spaniel, DoB approx 10/1/12, shots current. Marvin (for Starvin’ Marvin) was a mess when we got the call to pick him up! He was dangerously close to losing his right eye and had several major abscesses to heal, not to mention his hair was a tangled mess! We thought he was older, could only guess at his age, because his adult teeth were fully in, but we realized later just how young he was. His running partner, a young GS mix, might have protected him somewhat, Whatever really happened, Marvin endured 3 weeks in isolation while his wounds healed and his immune system was built up. Then, when he had had enough and was ready to face the others in the sanctuary, he chewed out of his enclosure and met the group. Marvin is not afraid of anything, but just wants to do whatever is needed to please his humans. Please call to meet him and consider a trial adoption. We take a few dogs each week to Unleashed by Petco in Chula Vista. If you would like to meet Marvin, please call Sami.
