My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duchess is a spunky little Black and Tan GSD. She can hop straight up 4 feet in the air without trying. She craves attention and loves her people. She is outgoing and though she is small she is mighty. She can hold her own with the biggest of dogs. Duchess is only 2 years old, but she spent the first two years off her life chained up out in a backyard treated like a useless object. Well we are teaching Duchess that she is indeed the princess she acts like. She now expects attention from everyone and her main goal in life is to become someone's lap dog.
Duchess is an alpha female GSD and due to this she does not get along with just any other dog. She does best with males her size or larger. She needs a dog that will 'not take her crap'. She is also in need of a family that is willing to put the time and energy into making her the perfect canine companion.
Duchess has however proven to get along very well with cats. She is also great with kids!

Duchess has tested light heartworm positive and has already begun her soft kill heartworm treatment. All meds and HW prevention necessary for this treatment will be provided to her adopter at time of adoption.

Adoption fee is $300.00; this includes spay/neuter, pre-anethetic bloodwork, HW test, all vaccinations, rabies vaccine and microchip.
