Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Neesie (short for Bernice) can prove to you that true love is blind.
At 4 ½-years old, Neesie is a petite beauty, with white fur as soft as velvet, with just a few touches of basic black on her sweet nose, an ear and one shapely leg. But you won’t need eyes to see what a beautiful spirit she has.
Like many white Danes, Neesie is blind, but she’s proven that it’s only a minor handicap. Her nose gets her just about everywhere she needs to go, and her hearing … though sometimes selective … is just fine. She particularly likes it when you make kissy noises at her – but then what girl doesn’t?
Her favorite things to do are working on her tan with her foster-cousins, curling up in an easy chair for a nap on chilly afternoons, and going on casual “sniff” walks in the neighborhood with her neighbor, Binkie the greyhound. And she is convinced that she’s petite enough to get in your lap.
It doesn’t take her long to memorize the layout of a new room, and she understands that the word “step” means – stairs ahead. However, she is kind of a bed hog, and when she’s ready to go to bed, she wants you to turn off that silly computer and come on.
Routine is important to her, so she’ll take a while to adjust to any new surroundings, and sometimes, she’ll find herself trapped by the conundrum of corners … but she never lets it get her down.
Neesie is house-trained, healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on her shots and heartworm meds.
See some short clips of Neesie on youtube, her blindness doesn't stop her from leading a normal doggie life:
