Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When a dog as impressive as Odie comes into a shelter, we all take notice and
thankfully one of our trainers has a huge affinity to block-head mushy black
dogs so was sure to really get to know him in all his glory!
Odie has not met a person that he does not like and is one of those dogs that
has a favorite spot on his back where he turns into a puddle of mushiness
whenever we scratch it. He really enjoys long walks and his leash skills are
improving although he still does a fair amount of pulling but we are confident
that when he is no longer confined 18 hours/day in a kennel, he will slow down a
bit. We are starting to teach Odie how to run alongside someone and he would
be great hiking partner or general companion to go from place to place because
he is not only friendly to people, but knows the commands sit, down, and is a
very motivated training student. He is an absolute ambassador with other dogs
of all sizes and he would do best with a dog that enjoys playing, rolling
around, and even some gentle ear nibbles! He has shown friendly interest in
cats and could also live with a dog savvy/friendly cat with slow introductions.
This boy can be an all around great family dog with people who truly appreciate
his stunning good looks and goofy personality. Odie was recently a student in
our training class and really enjoyed all the attention and lessons he
learned.... He is approximately 1-2 years old, neutered, up to date on his
vaccinations, and ready for his forever home right now!
