My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max came from a feral cat colony TNR (trap/neuter/return) project in Battle Creek. There were approximately a dozen cats or more in the colony. One of our volunteers received a frantic call that there were several cats stuck in an abandon house and had been there for several days. Luckily, our volunteers were able to get the cats out safely before it was too late. Unfortunately, it was discovered that Max had been previously hit by a car which broke his tail. Being part of a feral colony, he did not receive proper vet care immediately and his tail healed in the “down” position. After being removed from the house, our volunteers decided that Max was way too friendly to be returned to the colony safely and would need to have his tail amputated. Max has spent several months in foster healing from his surgery and is now ready to find a forever home of his own. Coming from a feral colony, he only had limited human interaction so he needs a calm household who is willing to give him extra TLC and allow him to continue to adjust to being a spoiled indoor kitty. Can you open your heart and home to give this gorgeous Siamese mix who has had such a rough start to life his new beginning? Max is around 2 years old. Adoption fees for kittens are $95. Adoption fees for cats are $65. There is a discounted adoption rate if you adopt a pair. All felines are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, flea treated, and UTD on vaccinations prior to adoption.
