Who gets a dog and then NEVER lets it outside? Stephanie's neighbor, that's who! At four-years-old, Shiloh had NEVER been outside her apartment. Her owners had taught her to use a wee-wee pad so they wouldn't have to take her out, and so her life was defined by four walls. Until "super woman" Stephanie came to the rescue - quite literally. With the permission of the owners, she is finding Shiloh a new home. 

 

Stephanie has worked with Shiloh to ensure that she will be ready for her new family. This has involved a lot of "firsts" for Shiloh. She was very excited about her first car ride; of course, she didn't know she was going to the vet! She quickly got used to a harness on her first walk. She visited the pets store and met lots of new dogs. Thanks to Stephanie, her life has just exploded with firsts! To say nothing of meeting the cats. Oh, the cats ... You see, wonderful Stephanie is really outside her comfort zone on this one. She is also fondly known as Cat Woman: she owns and fosters many cats. Shiloh thinks the cats are wonderful. The cats, however, well, the cats are cats, and Shiloh is not.  

 

So the cats and Stephanie would appreciate your help in spreading the word to help Shiloh find a new home. Shiloh is a purebred Rat Terrier. Yes, those ears are real and not extensions. Currently she lives in Altamonte Springs, Fla. (near Orlando). She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/heartworm meds. She gets along with dogs and cats. Because of the quiet life she has led, she would probably do better with older rather than younger children.
