My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benni is a four year old BEAUTIFUL Cocker Spaniel whose owner said she had no time to take care of him anymore...it is very sad because Benni is a sweetheart and a wonderful companion. Currently Benni is in foster care in NYC with a lovely young woman who has nothing but GREAT things to say about this special boy. He gets along well with her 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier and is great on his walks. He is social and friendly and happy to to sit on the couch by your side while you watch tv. He is used to sleeping in bed, but who wouldn't want to snuggle with this teddy bear? Housebroken and obedient, Benni is the perfect companion for a Cocker Spaniel lover. He has never lived with children or cats (he likes to playfully chase squirrels), so we are looking for an adult home or home with children over the age of 12. He is nice to everyone he meets, but we would like his new home to be as much like what he's used to as possible for an easy transition.
