My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gentle, loyal and just a touch shy, I am Chase. I wear my heart out in the open and my thoughts are written all over my face. I was rescued by my Mama and Papa when I was younger and it’s been a wonderful life. But now I’m 4 and Papa’s passed away; and Mama needs Patrick and me to be strong. She needs to be closer to her family and they are all city-folks. So it will soon be time for us to all start our next chapter. Mama will live in the city and Patrick and I will find new homes somewhere, together or apart.

You might think I’d be scared of what’s going to happen, but I’m really at peace with it. After all, I was rescued once already and that worked out wonderfully. Who knows what awesome family may come along and want me for their pet? With my sweet disposition, my training and good manners, I have a lot to offer. I can play ball with the kids or I can lie quietly at my owner’s feet while they read the paper. And just look at these big, beautiful eyes of mine! Don’t you think I can melt a heart or two with just one look? So don’t worry about me. I’ve got it all under control and I’m man enough to make the best of this situation.

Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and housebroken, there’s really nothing stopping me from finding the perfect home. I get along with all sorts of individuals: dogs, kids, cats, you name it. So bring it on, world. I’m Chase and I’m one heck of a fine dog in the prime of my life. I’m ready for what’s next and I believe it’s all going to work out just fine.
