My story

Minnie Pearl was rescued from a hoarder/breeder. For this reason she is very shy and still learning manners and how to trust people (she's better with women than men, but working on that). Minnie was pregnant when she came to Ratbone, and has since delivered and raised 3 beautiful babies (they are 9 weeks old now). She is just over a year old, weighs around 14 pounds (some of that is fro eating her babies' food), and is a blue tri-color. Minnie is affectionate and friendly, and has never offered to bite in her foster home - even though she was extremely frightened when she first arrived. She gets along with the other dogs, and ignores the cats - unless they come close to her babies (then she barks her head off to scare the cat away); on a typical day Minnie is not a big barker. She prefers to potty outside, though is not sure yet how to ask (she is on a schedule, and that helps a lot). To see additional pix of Minnie Pearl please click here.
