My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rusty. This is one gorgeous approximately 4 year old cockapoo. He has a beautiful chocolate coat with a white chest. He is a happy and playful guy who loves to play fetch or just spend some alone time with his squeaky rubber toys. He plays hard, but he can also settle down for tummy rubs. His leash walking manners need some improvement, but he is a smart guy who learns quickly. He knows "sit" and he figured out the dog door in his foster home within minutes. He is housebroken, but he needs to be let out or walked to potty. (He doesn't always connect his ability to use the dog door with the ability to relieve himself.) He sleeps on a dog bed on the floor next to his foster's bed at night. He gets along well enough with the other dogs in his foster home, because they leave him alone, but we believe he would prefer to be someone's "one and only." Rusty still has a lot of "young dog energy" and would do best in a home with older children who could play with him without being overwhelmed.
