I am George. I am a Large White and Tan Adult St. Bernard Mix. I am approximately 80 lbs. I am a shelter rescue. I have been evaluated by a professional behaviorist and have shown no signs of aggression with other dogs, however if engaged in altercation, I may defend myself. I was a shelter rescue, having been picked up as a neighborhood stray after I was reportedly fighting with other dogs in the area. I have interacted with dogs of various sizes with no aggression whatsoever. I am sweet and gentle with people. I love attention and love to be petted. I ride well in a car, however if the ride is too long I will have an accident so pay attention to my food intake and bathroom breaks before a road trip please.:-) (I will have accidents in my outside kennel as well, but if I am in an area where I can be around people I do very well with my potty breaks.) I also tend to sing to you in the car and if I get lonely. I really love companionship and tend to get glum without it. I am very frightened of thunderstorms and loud noises.
The adoption fee for dogs is $125 and that includes:
• veterinarian examination
• current vaccines
• current flea, intestinal parasite, and heartworm prevention
• spay/neuter
• a microchip for identification if ever lost or stolen
• current heartworm test
