My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dorian, a sweet, active, spunky purebred Pomeranian rescued for a county shelter where his owners surrendered him at the age of 19. Yes, Dorian is 19 years old (according to his previous owners), but you would never, ever know. He loves to explore the backyard, and to play with other dogs. An odd, but endearing, thing about Dorian is that he hops like a bunny. Exactly like a bunny. And all the time. He doesn't walk like a dog, ever. But he isn't in any pain, and is well adapted to it. And it certainly doesn't slow him down. He loves to give affection, and loves to be held and pet.

He is named Dorian after the book, "Picture of Dorian Gray" for two reasons. One is that he seems to be getting younger each day, and the other is that he LOVES staring at himself in the mirror. He'll stare at himself for hours at a time. His favorite thing to do besides looking in the mirror is sleeping on the bed. He gets out of bed in the morning, goes potty and then it is back to bed until dinnertime!

He has no health issues, is up to date on shots, and is housetrained.

Dorian is good with kids, and is good with other dogs. He has not yet been tested with cats. He's such a lover, and would be a great addition to any family!
