My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi - My name is Ranger and I am a 12-18 month old black lab mix. I spent my summer roaming around a campground asking for handouts, but I am not a happy camper. Lots of folks helped me keep body and soul together, but how could I be a happy camper with no place to call home and no one to love me? With fall coming, I was getting worried about how I would stay warm at nite and have enough food during the winer when the campground closed, when a new camper with angel wings showed up. She could see how sweet I am, and I wasted no time warming up to her! She took me to the vet and I am heartworm negative and healthy, so I got all my vaccinations and the vet "fixed" me up so I don't have to worry about puppy support in the future. I am so grateful to my angel for helping me, but she can't keep me because her home is full of other rescues she has helped.
