My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelly is a 3 year old purebred Shih Tzu that was rescued from a shelter in Brownstown. She has been spayed and brought up to date on her vaccines, heartworm and stool tests. Nelly has juvenile cataracts and can only see shadows. This doesn't seem to affect her at all. She navigates around very well.
Nelly is a very happy dog that loves everyone. She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs and gentle older children. We are not sure how she is with cats. Despite being mostly blind she enjoys going for walks.
We are looking for a very caring family or single person that will treat her like a queen for the rest of her life. A fenced yard and vet references are a must. Her adoption fee is $50.
