Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lil Rickey Jackson was one of the best decisions I've ever made. At 10 months young, he has grown! Exceeding weight and height predictions but more so in personality. He is a love bug, athletic, funny, and smart. He hasn't met a dog that he doesn't like, even if they tried to eat his head off as a pup (my black lab; they are best buds now). As a pup he did not exhibit prey drive towards cats; as a teenager he was curious as the new friendly neighborhood cat crossed his path and swatted him across the nose. He's kennel trained but we've begun the process of freedom in the house when we are gone. So far, we have not seen anything chewed other than his rope toy. His only flaw, he's a restless sleeper in bed. His favorite toy is a blue squeaking pig which we will be happy to include in the adoption.
He's grown to be a wonderful dog and companion. He's now about 55 lbs and will be filling out. He is up to date on shots, heartworm, and flea preventative He is microchipped and neutered. He's come along way since the 3.9 lbs at 7 weeks old when I found him. It is a difficult decision to let him go but I know there's a family out there that will love and appreciate LRJ as much as my family.
