My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Beau. I am a 5 year old beagle. I use to live with a older lady , until she had to go to a place they called assisted living. I am not sure why I could not go with her she was my best friend. She tried to find me a home before she had to go but nobody wanted me in the family. All of the no kill shelters were full. So my lady friend had no alternative but to take me to the vets office. Well as you can see I got a lucky break and Blue Collar Rescue came and got me. I am a very happy boy. I go to the bathroom outside and have all of my shots. I have also been neutered. I have one problem though I need to loose weight !! My lady friend seems to have fed me alot. I guess she just didn't realize we Beagles never get full. I did weigh 51 pounds now I am at 41 pounds. I still need to lose alot , but with a little time and some walks I know I will reach my target weight of 25-30 pounds. I had my teeth cleaned to so I have anice bright smile. I know I would be an asset to any home. I have alot of patience and a sunny disposition.
