Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a GREAT dog this boy is! When he was found wandering at a feed store in a rural community, no one would ever have guessed what a good dog he would be.
Ben is just about perfect in every way. He is crate-trained, leash-trained, house-trained, friendly with other dogs, ignores cats, jumps in the car like a pro and can be walked off leash!
This beautiful red heeler is about two years old and weighs around 40 pounds. He would be the perfect companion for an active family that would enjoy hiking or long walks with a buddy.
Ben is currently in Arkansas where he was rescued. Weekly transport is available to the northeast. Ben's adoption fee includes his transport fee.
If Ben sounds like the dog you have been waiting for, email warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application to adopt. Ben's adoption fee is $375.00. The application is the first step in the adoption process and provides a good starting point for a conversation between a new family and the foster mom. That conversation is critical in helping to determine if Ben is the right fit for your family. Finding a perfect match for Ben is our ultimate goal.
