UPDATE 6/29/13: Hi everyone, Romeo here! I just got 2 of my stubborn baby teeth pulled yesterday and did GREAT! Everyone at the vet's office said they couldn't believe I'm not adopted yet, ya know, since I'm so outrageously handsome. I'm still planning my first birthday party for next weekend, I weigh 12.5 pounds & I'm in Clearwater, FL. FM says I am a super silly guy especially when I stand guard by the pool. I don't know why ANYONE would ever go all the way under water. I get a little worried and even jumped in and tried to save her one day. Once I made the leap, I realized she didn't really need my help and she ended up helping me... oops. I am really good in my crate at night and sleep like a baby... but when the sun comes up I WANT TO PLAY. I love my walks so much that I still pull quite a bit or just run in circles but I am practicing. I also really like playing with the other small dog here. The big dog is okay too, I guess, but I'd still rather boss him around than play with him. I really want to meet my forever family. I am eager to be your very best friend!
UPDATED BIO 6/18/13: Romeo is a handsome & healthy, 12.5 pound, neutered male Yorkie being fostered in Clearwater, FL. He is getting ready to celebrate his 1st birthday in July and is very excited to find his forever family. Romeo is sweet, energetic and playful. He loves carrying around his toys (sometimes even his food bowl) and prancing around like a show pony to show everyone his coolest new prize. He is always hoping to make his foster brothers jealous so they will want to chase him around and try to steal it away. Romeo instantly wanted to play with his new small dog companion but when he saw the larger dog of the house... uh-oh! Romeo was growling like crazy. We think he was unsure of larger animals so he wanted to make sure he showed how big and tough he could be. After seeing how much FM petted and welcomed this big foster brother, Romeo slowly decided it must be OK. He wants to play, play, and play some more. Then, at least for a little while, he likes to sleep in your lap until it is time to play again. Romeo LOVES having a backyard to explore and run laps around. He barks when the other dogs bark, when someone is, or might be, at the door, and when he gets SUPER excited playing chase with his little foster brother. Romeo has been very good with the house training so far at his current foster home. He has had only one accident inside but FM feels like she should have let him out sooner after dinner time, so he gets a pass on that oops. Romeo is also a master at playing fetch!
INITIAL BIO 06/13/2013: MEET ROMEO! He's an adorable 11 1/2 month old yorkie boy who weighs approximately 10 lbs; he is being fostered in Clearwater, FL. Romeo just came into rescue today, so please check back for more info on him soon!
