Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Zadie! And I was taken to a shelter because my owner became very ill. Luckily they called AGK to see if they could help me find a forever home. So here I am. I am a petite Golden Retriever, but I need to drop a few. I am fluffy and sweet and love everyone and everything - kids, dogs and even cats! My foster mom can not believe I am 7 years old, I am healthy and active. Ooh, ohh - did I mention I am house trained and can hang out in the house with no problems?Although everyone keeps saying I could be a mix because of my black spots on my tongue (crazy myth by the way - google it). So if you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL, fluffy, sweet easy going Golden girl, that's me! Just tell them you want to adopt Zadie!!
NOTE: Adopt A Golden Knoxville rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area. These dogs are fostered in private homes in East Tennessee. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north on a USDA transport
If you are interested in adopting Zadie, please go to our website at http://www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org/new_england.html to read through our Knoxville to New England process.
